Dear Staff, Parents, and Families,
As we approach the last several weeks of the school year, we wanted to reach out regarding some key dates.
Please remember that Friday, May 27th is a single session day for students. Staff will take part in Professional Development in the afternoon. The district is closed on Monday, May 30th for Memorial Day.
The last day of school for all students and staff, except Nutley High School, is Wednesday, June 22nd. The last day of school for Nutley High School students and staff is Thursday, June 23rd due to an additional emergency closing for NHS only. June 20, 21, 22, and 23 will be single session days for students.
This year, we look forward to returning to our traditional promotion and graduation activities. Important dates are listed below.
NHS Graduation: Thursday, June 23rd at 6:00pm in the Park Oval. If it rains, the graduation will move indoors to the gymnasium. It will be livestreamed, regardless of location.
JHWMS Promotion: Tuesday, June 21st at 9:00am in the Park Oval. The rain date is June 22nd at 9:00am.
Lincoln School: Kindergarten Promotion is Monday, June 20th at 9:00am in Lincoln School. Sixth grade promotion is Tuesday, June 21st at 2:00 pm in John H. Walker Middle School auditorium.
Radcliffe School: Kindergarten Promotion is Monday, June 20th at 9:00am in Radcliffe School. Sixth grade promotion is Tuesday, June 21st at 11:30am at Radcliffe School.
Spring Garden School: Preschool End of Year Ceremony is 1:00pm on Thursday, June 16 at Spring Garden School. Kindergarten Promotion is June 20th at 9:00am at Spring Garden School. Sixth grade promotion is Tuesday, June 21st at 2:00pm at Spring Garden School.
Washington School: Kindergarten Promotion is Monday, June 20th at 9:00am in Washington School. Sixth grade promotion is Tuesday, June 21st at 2:00pm at Washington School.
Yantacaw School: Kindergarten Promotion is Monday, June 20th at 9:00am in Yantacaw School. Sixth grade promotion is Tuesday, June 21st at 2:00pm at Yantacaw School.
