At Monday night's Board of Education meeting, Michael DeVita was appointed Business Administrator for the Nutley Public Schools. He will officially join the district on August 19th.

Michael has more than two decades of school district experience. Since 2016, he has been the Business Administrator for the Cedar Grove Public Schools. Prior to that, he served in the same capacity for the Kearny Public Schools.

From 2004 until 2009, Michael worked in Nutley, first as staff accountant, then as Assistant Business Administrator and then as Business Administrator.

About

The Nutley School District serves approximately 4,100 students in Kindergarten through grade 12. The five elementary schools serve students K-6 and include Lincoln School, Radcliffe School, Spring Garden School, Washington School and Yantacaw School. John H. Walker Middle School serves students in grades 7-8 while Nutley High School addresses the needs of students in grades 9-12.
