Elementary School Counselors recently completed a project with their students called "Operation Gratitude." The students wrote and crafted cards and letters which were delivered to the EMS, Police, Fire, and Senior Citizens.

The counselors in the elementary schools teach students about the importance of social and emotional growth, acceptance, empathy, and giving back to others through our School Counseling program.

This project motivates students to gain knowledge, and they remember it longer.  Projects give students the chance to apply the skills they learn in school to personally relevant and real-world situations.  These skills will help students succeed in the future, both in school and in today’s work world.
