Any current 8th - 11th grader who hasn't taken an art class recently is invited to submit to a portfolio review by the NHS Art Dept. to be considered and recommended for advanced level courses.  APPLY TODAY!  Questions?  Contact an art teacher or scan to submit your portfolio.

The Nutley Public Schools' Academic Supervisors, NHS Building Administrators and School Counseling Department will host a Scheduling Program for current eighth grade parents/guardians on Thursday, January 16th from 6:30-8:30 pm in the NHS auditorium. Over the course of the evening, parents will hear from each academic department regarding  courses of study.  Information will be presented that will assist in making course selections for ninth grade.  

This month, the Middle School welcomed Mrs. Christina Guariglia to the role of Vice Principal. A familiar face in John Walker Middle School, Mrs. Guariglia has been a 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts teacher since 2013.
