Welcome to Yantacaw!

It is my privilege to help care for your child while in school. Below you will find some procedures that are to be followed in helping to safeguard your child's health in accordance with district policy and NJ state law.

Medications may only be administered in school by the nurse or parent. Written permission from a child's physician is required for any medication to be administered in school (including ANY over the counter medications- Tylenol, Motrin, topical creams, etc.).

Please submit a current doctor's order for all medication I will be administering.  I need new orders at the start of every year.

Asthma, Allergy, Seizure and Diabetic medication requires special documentation. Appropriate forms can be found below.

All incoming Kindergarten families please send in and extra set of clothing including underwear and socks.

Families with children entering 6th grade please submit proof of their Meningitis and Tdap vaccine by 8/14/24.

I have also posted other policies and forms that you may need this year.  Please feel free to contact me for any concern you may have.

Warm regards,

Nurse Steffi
