The JHWMS Student Council had a big and busy week! Students in each group collected snacks throughout the week for the "We Got This Food Drive" of Newark. It was a competition between all 6 middle school teams. The Kingsland team won first place with 1,108 collected crackers and pretzels. The overall total of snacks collected was 3,232! We were then able to make approximately 500 snack bags for those in need. What a way to kick off the holiday season!

The Nutley School District serves approximately 4,100 students in Kindergarten through grade 12. The five elementary schools serve students K-6 and include Lincoln School, Radcliffe School, Spring Garden School, Washington School and Yantacaw School. John H. Walker Middle School serves students in grades 7-8 while Nutley High School addresses the needs of students in grades 9-12.
